Awareness Transport of Lithium Batteries (E-learning)

The transportation of lithium batteries is subject to strict laws and regulations which mandate that everyone involved in the handling of dangerous goods is properly trained. This applies to everyone involved in the transportation process of lithium batteries, including loading, unloading, handling, driving (transportation), document review, etc.

This course complements the Awareness Transport of Dangerous Goods course and provides a deeper understanding of the transportation of lithium batteries.

This course can be taken separately, but we recommend doing the Awareness Transport of Dangerous Goods course first, so you know in which type of dangerous goods the lithium batteries fall into. 

During this awareness course, you will learn to understand the risks, duties and responsibilities related to the transportation of lithium batteries. Upon successful completion of the exam (with a minimum score of 80%) you will receive a certificate valid for 2 years.

As an approved training institution by the Dutch Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management, we can guarantee our certificates are recognized by the appropriate authorities.

Who is this course for?

This course is for everyone involved in the transport of lithium batteries, such as loading, unloading, handling, driving (transporting), assessing documents, etc. It is ideal to take as a refresher course.
 

This course is mandatory for persons working for consignors of lithium batteries for air transport in accordance with 1.6 of the IATA DGR.
