Refresher
Strict laws and regulations apply to the transport of dangerous goods by air. The Aviation Act requires that everyone involved in the transport of dangerous goods must be properly trained, which applies to allsenders, forwarders, agents, handlers and airlines.
The course must be taken at a training institute approved by the government (Dutch Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management). Vertex Learning Institute has this approval and helps students to understand and correctly apply laws and IATA regulations.
You will learn how to interpret the IATA Dangerous Goods Regulation in accordance with the Recognition* required to perform your job correctly. This course will be tailored to focus on the skills needed for your specific job requirements. Upon successful completion of the assessment (with a minimum score of 80%), you will be authorized to pack, mark, label, document and/or inspect dangerous goods for transport by air.
This certificate is valid for 2 years, and refresher training must be completed before the certificate expires. A refresher training is possible up to 3 months before the current certificate expires.
*This can be an A-Recognition, B-Recognition, C-Recognition, D-Recognition or E-Recognition. This recognition determines the competencies (skills) that the student needs.
